Dehesa Montenmedio is a truly spectacular golf course, which is set within a 300-hectare estate, blessed with an abundance of pine trees, cork trees and wildlife such as deer, eagles and foxes. The course was designed with the club golfer in mind. It features many bunkers and water hazards, but the fairways are wide and forgiving. Experts say that the greens here are amongst the best in Andalusia.

Incorporating three world class golf courses into a Winterwaves golfing holiday, we recommend that Montemedio should be one of your 'warm up courses' before you go on to one of the championship courses.

Benalup golf and country club is situated in the heart of the Alcornoclaes Natural Park with 360° views of the La Janda Valley. It is the policies of the club that ensures a truly pleasant golfing atmosphere, by opting for a limited number of players per day. Playing golf in Benalup is pleasurable, exclusive but still affordable.

The golf course is a PAR 73, including 5 pars 5. The 6073m natural course de singed by Belgian Architect Paul Rolin, with various lakes is a real challenge for all types of players. The lower handicaps will certainly enjoy the technical challenge when playing from the back tees. The greens are large and sometimes very undulated.

The Benalup Golf infrastructure includes a club house with restaurant and bar, golf shop, cloakrooms, driving range, putting & pitching green, caddy master, and club storage.

The clubs golfing professional George Oosternlynck is available for either individual or collective classes. The golf school also offers clinics for beginners and advanced players.

The course is situated in approximately 395 acres, with a typical Andalusian landscape for the golfer to enjoy a scenic round of golf.

Following the first Volvo Masters in 1997 Montecastillo has invested over 1,200,000 Euros in a technical and aesthetic renovation plan. This has included the planting of 100 year old olive trees, the installation of a new drainage system, introducing Marmolada sand in the bunkers and new machinery for the maintenance of the golf course.

The Montecastillo is an entertain course where the golfer can expect to use every club in their bag, for a wide variety of shots and to overcome the water obstacles and bunkers.
